Reservation Services and Support Coordinator

Department: Commercial

Closing date: 20 May 2013

Job purpose

To provide support to the network through functions associated with the Reservation Services, Group Services and Agency support.

Responsibilitie

  • Handle credit /refund related queries from travel agents and co-ordinate with finance where appropriate
  • Handling of flight disruption related to passenger reservation including re-accommodation of passengers affected by the disruption
  • Provide first level support to end users on all commercial system related queries
  • Handling all group services related queries from travel agents and ensuring other group support jobs such as pre-flight check, time limits, inserting names, special handling of Haj/Umrah movements
  • Support testing on new versions of the reservations system provided by the vendors
  • Prepare periodic/adhoc reports for use by commercial business development managers and other sections
  • Handle personal staff travel requests from all flydubai staff and prepare IATA letters, issue concessional tickets on flydubai
  • Handle duty travel requests of flydubai staff
  • Ensure pre-flight checks are done and PNLs released on time
  • Ensure schedule changes are implemented
  • Respond to phone calls/emails in a timely and professional manner ensuring service quality levels are maintained at all times

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience preferably in the in airline industry

Maintenance Controller

Department: Engineering

Closing date: 20 May 2013

Job purpose

To ensure that the fleet can meet the Operational requirements of the flying programme, acting as an interface between Operations, Engineering & Air Crew

Responsibilitie

  • To ensure the continued operation of the fleet from an engineering perspective
  • Solving aircraft Technical problems
  • Monitoring ADD/CDD/MEL levels, planning for clearance of defects at nominated Line Stations.
  • Maintaining the ADDS/CDDS/MEL/OOPS database.
  • Meeting with Network Controllers to discuss MEL related items and the impact on the flying programme.
  • Recording & Reporting of Technical delays
  • Certificate of Maintenance review for the fleet when requested
  • Coordinating recovery of AOG Aircraft
  • Maintain a detailed Engineering Log
  • Establishing Parts status and ensuring availability
  • Updating on the Engineering Software system as required
  • To monitor Aircraft Operation, to ensure that sufficient downtime exists to complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance of Boeing 737NG Line and Base activity

Qualifications

  • Part 66 AMEL (or FAA / ICAO equivalent) with ratings on 737NG and CFM56-7B
