Baggage policy

You can carry one item of hand baggage on board with you for free, as well as one small laptop bag or handbag.

Your hand baggage can weigh up to 7 kg and has to be smaller than 56cm x 45 cm x 25 cm so you can store it in the overhead locker or under your seat.

If your hand baggage is too big or too heavy to carry on board, you can check it in at the flydubai check-in desk.

You can pre-pay to check in 20 kg of baggage on any flydubai flight. If you want to take more baggage, you might be able to pre-pay to check in 30 kg or 40 kg if there’s enough space on the flight.

You can check in up to 3 pieces of baggage, as long as their combined weight doesn’t add up to more than the baggage allowance you’ve paid for.

Each piece of baggage has to weigh 32 kg or less and be smaller than 75 cm x 55 cm x 35 cm.

You can pre-pay for your checked baggage allowance up to 4 hours before your flight. You can do this online, or through one of our call centres or our travel agents.

If you haven’t pre-paid, you can pay to check in baggage at the airport rate, provided there’s enough space on the flight.

You’ll also need to pay to check in your baggage at the airport rate if:

• you go over your pre-paid baggage allowance
• you have more than 3 pieces of baggage to check in (even if you haven’t gone over your baggage allowance)

Zone 1 destinations

Zone 2 destinations

Abha, Ahmedabad, Amman, Ashgabat, Baghdad, Baku, Beirut, Damascus, Djibouti, Erbil, Ha'il, Jeddah, Kabul, Mineralnye Vody, Multan, Najaf, Osh, Sana'a, Sialkot, Sulaimaniyah, Tabuk, Taif, Tbilisi, Yanbu and Yerevan

Zone 3 destinations
