Checking-in
When you arrive at the airport, first go to the flydubai hand
baggage or check-in desk and pick up your boarding pass. Then go
through security and immigration and head for the departure
gate.
Travelling without checked baggage
If you're travelling without checked baggage, you must be at the
flydubai hand baggage desk no later than 60 minutes before the
scheduled take-off. If you arrive after this time, flydubai cannot
allow you to travel and no alternative travel will be offered.
Travelling with checked baggage
The flydubai check-in desk opens 3 hours before the scheduled
departure and closes 60 minutes before take-off. If you arrive at
the check-in desk less than 60 minutes before departure, flydubai
cannot allow you to travel and no alternative travel will be
offered.
If you want to check a bag into the aircraft hold, the bag must
not be larger than 90 cm x 75 cm x 43 cm. If your bag is larger
than this, flydubai can't accept it.
If you haven't pre-purchased checked baggage, subject to
availability, you'll be charged AED 150 for the first bag you want
to check-in. If you want to check-in additional bags, you'll be
charged AED 500 per bag. Each piece of checked baggage can weigh up
to 32 kg but not measure more than 90 cm x 75 cm x 43 cm. Checked
baggage can be pre-purchased at a discount up to 4 hours before
departure at flydubai.com or through the call centre.
Checked baggage purchased at the airport is strictly limited and
subject to availability.
If you paid with a credit card
If you paid for your booking with a credit card, you will be
asked to produce the card or a photocopy of the front of the card,
together with a photocopy of the cardholder's passport.
Important note: A credit card cannot be used to
pay on behalf of someone else travelling to or from Sudan, Nepal,
Pakistan or Sri Lanka.
