What should I do if I am travelling soon?

Who is eligible for rebooking without penalty?

Passengers booked to travel between 28 February and 31 March can rebook on an alternative flight to the same destination, up to 30 days from the original travel date, with no penalty charges.

Can I request a refund instead of rebooking?

Yes. Passengers travelling between 28 February and 31 March have the option to request a refund if they choose not to travel.

How will my refund be processed?

Any eligible refund will be issued in line with the flydubai refund policy.

What happens if my flight is cancelled outside this disruption period?

For standard cancellations, any eligible refund will be issued as a flydubai voucher, in line with the flydubai refund policy. This excludes insurance, which isn't applicable for a refund.

Is travel insurance included in the refund?

  • Insurance is applicable for a refund for eligible bookings between 28 February and 31 March. 
  • Insurance is not applicable for a refund for standard cancellations.

Can I travel if my connecting flight from Dubai is not operating?

No. Passengers connecting through Dubai will only be accepted for travel from their origin if the connecting flight is operating.

Will my flight time or transit time change?

Yes, some flight durations and transit times in Dubai may be longer than usual due to temporary rerouting of certain flight paths.

Why are flight routes being changed?

Some flights are temporarily being rerouted due to airspace restrictions. The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority.

Should I go to the airport if my flight status is unclear?

No. Please do not travel to the airport unless you have a confirmed booking or official confirmation of a rebooked flight.

How can I book or rebook a flight?

You can book or rebook through:

  • the flydubai mobile app
  • the flydubai Customer Centre in Dubai (+971 600 54 44 45)
  • the flydubai Travel Shop
  • your travel agent

What should I do if I booked through a travel agent?

Please contact your travel agent directly for rebooking or refund options.

How can I receive updates about my flight?

Make sure your contact details are up to date in Manage your booking and refer only to flydubai’s official channels for the latest updates.

What do I do if flydubai changes the time of my flight?

If, more than 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure, we make a schedule change and:

  • your flight is departing early by 1 hour or more; or
  • your flight is departing later by 3 hours or more.

or

If, within 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure, we make a schedule change and:

  • your flight is departing early by 20 minutes or more; or
  • your flight is departing later by 1 hour or more.

You have the following options: 

Rebooking

  • You can rebook, free of charge, to travel up to 10 days from your original date of travel or to the next scheduled flight and you will not be required to pay a penalty or difference in fare.
  • If you choose to rebook more than 10 days from your original date of travel, no penalty will be payable. However, any difference in fare will need to be paid.

Refund

  • You can request a refund to flydubai voucher. A flydubai voucher can be used before the expiry date for booking on any available future date and only by the passenger on whose name it was issued.

What do I do if I miss a connecting flight due to a schedule change made by flydubai?

If you miss a connection with us or one of our partner (codeshare and interline) airlines, due to a schedule change made by us (where the connection is included on the same booking) you have the following options: 

Rebooking

  • You can rebook, free of charge, to travel up to 10 days from your original date of travel or to the next scheduled flight and you will not be required to pay a penalty or difference in fare.
  • If you choose to rebook more than 10 days from your original date of travel, no penalty will be payable. However, any difference in fare will need to be paid.

Refund

  • You can request a refund to flydubai voucher. A flydubai voucher can be used before the expiry date for booking on any available future date and only by the passenger on whose name it was issued.

If your flight is cancelled, the following options are available to you:

Rebooking

  • You can rebook, free of charge, to travel up to 30 days from your original date of travel or to the next scheduled flight and you will not be required to pay a penalty or difference in fare.
  • If you choose to rebook more than 30 days from your original date of travel, no penalty will be payable. However, any difference in fare will need to be paid.

Refund

  • If you do not wish to rebook your cancelled flight, you can request a refund via Manage booking.
