Kathmandu’s weather varies throughout the year, with temperatures ranging from average highs of 29°C in July to average lows of 2°C during winter.

Getting around

Rickshaws are everywhere in Kathmandu and are best for short rides around town. Taxis can whiz you from one sight to another too, as well as a network of local buses.

Airport information
