Public transport options include trams and buses that connect the city and surrounding areas. The green and yellow trams are particularly convenient, covering most parts of Basel and extending into neighbouring regions in France and Germany. You can speak to your accommodation provider to get a BaselCard, granting free access to public transport for the duration of your stay. Old Town is a charming area best explored on foot. For those who prefer cycling, bike rentals are available, while taxis and ridesharing services like Uber provide additional options for getting around.
