Online check-in

You can check in online using your computer or a tablet or on your smartphone via our mobile site or the flydubai mobile app. You can check in online from 48 hours up to 75 minutes before the flight departs.

To access online check-in portal, you’ll need:

• Booking reference.
• Last name (family name) of one of the passengers.
  

To check in for your flight online, you’ll need:

• Personal information as shown in the passport:
  • First name, last name, date of birth, gender.
  • Nationality.
  • Passport number.
  • Passport expiry date.
  • Issuing country of the passport.
• Mobile phone number and email address.

Yes. Passengers can check in online separately, and at different times, from 48 hours to 75 minutes before departure.

No. Children under 12 years old should be accompanied by a passenger (parent or guardian) travelling on the same booking, who is at least 16 years of age. Children aged 12 and over who are travelling without an adult must proceed to the airport check-in desk.

Yes. You can check in online when travelling with an infant aged 7 days to 2 years. Infants under 7 days old are not accepted for travel with flydubai.

You’ll be able to check in online for all flights in your booking if your first flight is operated by flydubai. If the first flight is not a flydubai flight, you will not be able to check in online with flydubai. This applies to all codeshare and interline bookings that are not operated by flydubai.

Yes. You can check in online when travelling with a wheelchair, however, you will need to collect your boarding pass at the airport check-in desk.

Yes. You will have the option to add your Emirates Skywards number during online check-in.

You can check the list of destinations with online check-in at https://www.flydubai.com/en/flying-with-us/check-in/online-check-in/.

Depending on the destination airport you may need to collect your boarding pass at the airport check-in desk. If you have not received your boarding pass after checking in online, please go to the airport check-in desk for verification of your travel documents, to check in any baggage and to receive your printed boarding pass.

Yes. You can choose your preferred seat or change your seat selection. You’ll also have the option to select an extra legroom seat at an additional cost. Seats are subject to availability and can be paid for using your debit/credit card or a flydubai voucher before checking in online.

Yes. To change your seat selection simply log into our Online check-in portal and click on ‘Change seat’ link next to your current seat selection.

Yes. This is subject to the baggage policy and the eligibility of your booking.

Yes. Upgrades are subject to availability of Business Class seats and are for eligible bookings only. Payment can be made using your debit/credit card before checking in online.

If you are unable to check in online between 48 hours to 75 minutes before departure you will need to go to the airport check-in desk to collect your printed boarding pass. The flydubai check-in desk is open from 3 hours to 60 minutes before departure.

• If your booking requires verification of your debit/credit card at the airport check-in desk.
• If you have a special request for cabin baggage.
• If you wish to request an extra seat.
• If you are travelling with an infant on the outbound flight and on the inbound flight the infant is booked as a child.
• If you are booked on a flight to perform Umrah or Hajj.

Yes, simply log into our Online check-in portal and use the ‘Cancel check-in’ feature no later than 4 hours before your flight.

Yes, you can cancel your check-in if your plans change, and you decide not to travel.

You'll need to rebook or cancel your flight via Manage booking no later than 2 hours before departure to avoid a no-show. Your fare's standard rebooking and cancellation rules will apply.

1. Log into our Online check-in portal.
2. Select the passengers you want to uncheck from the flight.
3. If you are going to make changes to your booking, you'll need to select the primary passenger. Booking modification will not be possible if the primary passenger is still checked in.
4. Select the ‘Cancel check-in’ option and follow the steps.

Yes, you can select the passengers you want to uncheck from the flight. If any of those passengers have an infant assigned to them, the infant will also be unchecked.

If you want to modify your booking, the primary passenger has to be unchecked from the flight.

You can use the ’Cancel check-in‘ feature from when you’ve checked in online and up to 4 hours before the flight departure.

Yes, you can cancel the check-in on a connecting flight, if:

• all segments of your journey are operated by flydubai; and
• you have not started your journey on the connecting flight*.

*When you check in online for a connecting flight, we check you through from your origin to your destination. Therefore, ‘Cancel check-in’ feature will also apply from the origin to the destination and can’t be used once you start your journey.

Yes, you can check in online again up until 75 minutes before your flight departure. Simply log into our Online check-in portal.

You won’t be able to cancel check-in, if: 

• you have checked in at the airport; 
• your bag tags are already issued; 
• your flight is departing in less than 4 hours; 
• one of the segments of your journey is with our partner airline; 
• you are travelling on a connecting flydubai flight and your journey has already started.
